Get ready for an exciting season with top-tier technical trainers guiding every third session! Our experts will provide essential guidance, skill refinement, and training for both players and parent facilitators!

Here’s what you can look forward to:

  • Weekly Professional Lesson Plans: Parent facilitators will receive comprehensive plans to lead sessions, with support and oversight from our dedicated technical assistant.
  • Dynamic 55-Minute Sessions: Each session kicks off with engaging skills and drills station rotations followed by a mini-game.
  • Our Goal: Cultivating a love for soccer while enhancing general movement and coordination of soccer technique.

Ensure your registration is fully completed and paid for by September 3 to join the fun!

If any part of your registration is incomplete (TeamSnap registration, payment, or volunteer deposit) or if you’re registering after September 3, please email socceroffice@emsanorth.ca to add your athlete(s) to the waitlist. Waitlisted participants will only be contacted to complete payment if there’s space available AFTER teams are formed.

Schedules will be released on October 16 at 5:00pm
Game times for all age groups will vary on their assigned day. The season runs from mid-October to February

How To Register for U5/U7 Indoor Soccer

STEP 1: COMMUNITY LEAGUE MEMBERSHIP

  • You will need a valid, current Community Membership to register.
    (You will not get past Step 1 of registration).
  • If you have already purchased one you will require the membership number.

Option to Purchase: EFCL.org/membership

Edmonton Minor Soccer Association is in Partnership with the Edmonton Federation of Community Leagues. As per EMSA bylaws, all Edmonton residents who participate in EMSA Soccer need to hold a valid Community League Membership (EFCL) card for that year. Memberships run from September 1 to August 31 every year.

You must purchase your community league membership from the community in which you live, even if it does not have an active soccer program.

STEP 2: REGISTER ONLINE THROUGH TEAMSNAP

Registration will be accepted online through TeamSnap from August 1, 2024 to September 3, 2024.

 

  1. Log-in OR create an account on TeamSnap HERE
    • Need to create an account? Use the “Sign Up” feature
      • NOTE: You will need to click on the registration link again after creating your account
    • Forgot password? Use the “forgot password” feature
      • NOTE: You will need to click on the registration link again after resetting your password)
  2. Add/Register your player(s)
    • Ensure the player information is correct prior to registering

Interested in being a Parent Facilitator? Please mark this in your athletes registration! Parent Facilitators will need to complete a Police Information Check (PIC), which is free of charge and additional training is optional!

STEP 3: PAYMENT

Please note: Your registration won’t be finalized until payment is received. The deadline to submit payment is September 3, 2024

How to Pay:

1. Online – Use Visa or MasterCard at the final step of TeamSnap registration. Parents have the option to pay in installments: pay 50% upfront and the rest in a month. The second installment will be automatically charged to the same card.

2. Offline – Choose ‘pay offline’ at the final step of TeamSnap registration and send an Interac e-transfer to programs@emsanorth.ca within 24 hours. Include your player’s name in the transfer notes

3. Funding 

  • KidSport:
    Kidsport will provide funding for qualified applicants up to $250 per calendar year (January – December).You can apply for assistance online when submitting your registration with EMSA North online, please ensure you have your financial information available to upload.
  • Jumpstart:
    Unfortunately, Jumpstart has had to pause Individual Child Grants in the Edmonton area due to the higher than normal demand at the start of the year.  They intend to reopen the application around the start of September to support the fall/winter sports registrations.
    Jumpstart encourages applicants to consistently check their website to see if the application has reopened, https://jumpstart.canadiantire.ca/pages/individual-child-grants

Please note: If you’re applying for financial assistance through KidSport and/or Jumpstart, you must pay your registration fees in full before the deadline to secure your athlete’s spot on a team. After the office receives the funding, any overpaid fees will be refunded to the parent.


Spectator Admission Fees

Spectator admission fees are in effect at the Edmonton Soccer Centers. Buy 1 pass for $52 or 2 passes for $77 (expires October 31 and both passes must be purchased at the same time. Discount not available if second pass is purchased later)

After October 31, passes will be full price.

Daily Admissions – $7.00 
Multi Facility Season Pass – $52.00
Ages 17 and under are FREE
Ages 60 and over are FREE

Multi pass includes entry into the three Edmonton Soccer Association Indoor Facilities, the Scottish Dome and Viktoria Soccer Club
